The Soul Music and Performing Arts (SMPAA) Summer Camp, “A Creative Summer”, offers a unique opportunity for students to experience an intensive arts program of dance, music and musical theatre.

We welcome 8 - 16 year old children to join and explore their creative selves at the SMPAA A Creative Summer CAMP 2019 from 10/06 to 05/07.

A Creative Summer Camp 2019 provides the platform for students to expand their knowledge in various arts forms, from discovering the dance genres of hip hop, modern jazz, dancesport and Vietnamese folk dance to singing in a choir, playing instruments, recording in a recording studio and performing a musical theatre piece. Above all, SMPAA’S A Creative Summer CAMP 2019 will give young people an exhilarating music and arts experience to remember.

Also, this year, there are new additions to the camp program including Vietnamese folk dance and traditional music to bring increased cultural awareness and understanding through the performing arts.

Through chosen activities under the guidance of internationally qualified teachers, students will have an exciting summer to express themselves as well as to make new friends. Through fun, dynamic and interactive arts activities, children will improve their language skills (English), cognitive skills (critical thinking, creativity, art perceptiveness and improvisation), and social skills (communication, collaboration and teamwork).

In addition to the lessons at SMPAA, students will participate in performances on stage at the Soul Live Project Complex and have the opportunity to visit two arts locations in HCMC, meet experienced local artists and gain more knowledge about the culture of Vietnam through music and the performing arts.
